The 2012 ALPMA Legal Industry Salary Survey, kindly sponsored by Legal People, provides a comprehensive review of salaries paid across all positions at legal firms in Australia and New Zealand.
2012 Survey Improvements
For the first time, ALPMA will be collecting information about staff employment profiles (including part-time, full-time, contractor and casual workers), salary and recruitment projections for the coming year and information about other employment benefits offered. Survey Results
Results will be available from the end of May, 2012. Every firm who completes the online survey will receive the ALPMA 2102 Legal Industry Salary Survey Report free of charge as an incentive to encourage strong participation from across the industry. The report is available for $550 for non-participating ALPMA members or $2,200 for non-members.
Confidentiality Guaranteed
The survey is conducted by an independent, external research company. All data submitted to this survey will be held strictly confidential and results will only be provided in aggregate form within the report. Please note, sponsors do not have access to individual responses or raw data in any form.
Who can Complete the Survey
The survey will be distributed to ALPMA members and subscribers. Salary information is highly sensitive. To ensure confidentiality and accuracy, the entry of data and final reports must be carefully controlled. Data must be entered by an authorised representative of the firm who holds one of the following roles:
- Managing Partner
- Office Manager
- General Manager/CEO
- HR Manager/Director
- Book Keeper
- Payroll Officer
