Your Partner blog article entitlement is a great way to share valuable, relevant information with ALPMA’s members, subscribers and website visitors, in a way that continues to get eyes on your brand long after we hit “publish”.
We encourage ALPMA Partners to discuss their article ideas with us in advance. We might be able to make suggestions or recommend timing to best fit our wider Learning & Development program.
Guidelines for preparing a great blog article
- We recommend using it to share specific, valuable information that’s both relevant to your brand and also genuinely useful to our readers. For example:
- A step-by-step guide on how to undertake some process related to your product or service, such as using your software, planning a project with you or auditing their current systems (that could be replaced with your product).
- The results of unique research, such as an anonymous survey of your clients. This is a good way to show what “most firms” are doing or show how common a particular problem – and solution – are across the industry.
- An interview or case study with one of your clients, going in-depth into the problem they were able to solve and the solution they currently enjoy.
- Timely content can work well (think “What you need to know about X in 2021” or “How the changes in XYZ will impact law firms”) but quality evergreen articles can provide value – and clicks back to your own website – for longer.
- There’s no word count with high-quality writing. Say whatever you need to say to engage readers and provide value. In fact, longer articles often work best as they’re perceived as higher quality by both readers and search engines.
- Be sure to include a clear, concise call to action at the end of your article so readers know exactly what you want them to do next. (This shouldn’t mean that your article is only a sales tool; it should offer independent value, too.)
