AML Salaries Snapshot from New Zealand

New Zealand’s anti-money laundering regime has encompassed lawyers and law firms since 2018, and ALPMA’s New Zealand HR Issues & Salary Survey has collected salary data for two AML-specific roles since 2020:

• AML Officer / Manager
• AML Administrator

We have released this AML Salaries Snapshot report to help Australian law firms gain an understanding of what AML-role salaries look like across the Tasman in firms with mature AML processes, especially in relation to Practice Manager and General Manager salaries, and how they have trended since the 2018 introduction.
