I have been an ALPMA member for over 6 years. My membership is invaluable to me and my firm as it enables me to learn from industry experts and peers. The role of a practice manager can be a lonely one in a law firm. There is only one of you in your law firm and you need to be talking to like-minded individuals to bounce ideas off, share information with. Sometimes, you just need to confirm that your thinking is right before taking the ideas to the next level. This keeps me on track with emerging issues and provides relevance to my work.
ALPMA's L&D is by far the best going around. It is varied, pitched at the right level and is timely for hot topics. I love attending webinars as I can attend many more events than I ever did in the past. Networking is equally as important. I have found no other organisation that provides the complete package that ALPMA does.
