Preventing sexual harassment in the workplace (our positive duty) and navigating complaints where they arise.
This session will equip attendees with some tips on how to deal with a sexual harassment complaint, and considerations for how we can meet the requirement for employers to take positive steps to prevent sexual harassment.
Attendees will be able to take action on after this session:
- Assessing available data on current risks within your organisation, and consideration for what other data may assist.
- Ideas or actions you may take that relate to the positive duty to prevent unlawful conduct, which includes sexual harassment.
- Understanding of key early steps to take when a sexual harassment complaint is made, and consideration of changes in policies or procedures.
If you are involved in risk management for your firm, then this is the place for you. Practice Managers, HR/People Managers and Risk Managers will benefit from attending this session We welcome input from meeting attendees about the specific risk issues that they are confronting in their day-to-day roles.
