Allan Briggs is founder and owner of Crisis Shield based in Melbourne Australia and London United Kingdom. He started his professional career with Victoria Police and, after rising to the rank of Sergeant and managing the Public Relations Unit there, then went on to work as Manager of Media and Public Relations at the State Emergency Services (VICSES).

Allan now shares his expertise through his client work, presenting at events and conferences around the world, lecturing at universities and assisting global organisations to prepare and respond to crises. Allan holds a Bachelor of Sociology and Police Studies, a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations, and a Master of Communication.
