The foundation of the Wellness Warrior Resilience Program© is the practice of mindful meditation, which is one recognised means of addressing lawyer distress and wellbeing. Mindful meditation can enhance a host of competencies related to professional effectiveness, including increased focus and concentration, working memory, critical cognitive skills, reduced burnout, and ethical and rational decision-making.
Participants of the Wellness Warrior Resilience Program© can expect to gain awareness around resilience and some of the building blocks that can increase it. Participants will have the opportunity to assess their own current level of resilience and receive a framework to develop their own ready-to-action resilience strategy. And finally, participants will be guided through meditation so that they may return to their day feeling calm and focused.
