ALPMA and principal Summit partner Dye & Durham are excited to investigate changes to the Australasian legal landscape over the past 12-months and how firms are adapting to rapid changes in the legal market. This longstanding, annual industry research provides insights detailing key themes and trends influencing strategy and innovation within the Australasian legal community.

The findings of the survey will be released via a report presented at the 2025 ALPMA Summit, being held on 3-5 September at the International Convention Centre, Sydney. The final report will also be provided to all survey participants, even if you're unable to join us in Sydney.
Who should complete this survey?
This survey is open to all law firms or legal departments in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore until midnight AEST, 04/08/2025.
While more than one submission can be completed per firm, to obtain accurate firm data the survey should be completed by staff who have appropriate knowledge about the following firm matters:
- the firm’s work-life balance and return to work policies;
- the firm’s mental health support and provisions; and
- current and developing firm strategies.
It is therefore suggested that this survey be conducted by—or in consultation with—Practice Managers, C-Suite Executives, Managing Partners, or Technology / Operations Managers or similar.
This survey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. All data entered will be kept confidential and individual firms or responses will not be identified in any way.
