The 2010 Summit Committee is fine tuning yet another Fabulous Summit Program. Each year we review our past events and look to provide a wider program that challenges all aspects of law firm management. This year will be no exception. The 2009 Summit at Royal Pines Resort was by all accounts a great success. The presentations were topical and relevant to all the delegates. The ALPMA Summit Trade Show enabled delegates and sponsors a chance for networking in a friendly environment with the delegates able to use this exhibition as a platform to assess goods and services all hosted in the one arena.

"Despite 33 years in legal administration, of which 23 have been in a management capacity, for some inexplicable reason I had not attended an ALPMA Summit until this year at Royal Pines. I lament at what I had been missing out on. Information, entertainment, camaraderie, valuable networking and esprit de corps were all there in abundance. The location was spectacular, the catering supreme and the functionality (as you would expect with the quality of people involved in organising the event) was peerless. Who would have thought that enhancing your skills and broadening your management capabilities could be so much fun? Despite my advancing years I returned to my practice with a refreshed outlook and imbued with a new spirit of enthusiasm for the challenges ahead. I have also presented my managing principal with a strong recommendation that he attend next year.
