Director and Principal

The POD Consultancy Pty Ltd

Shirley Anne Fortina grew up in South Africa, spent over four and a half years in the UK and has been living in Perth Western Australia for the past 18 years. Shirley Anne’s passion is enabling those around her. She works with individuals and businesses – helping them work out where they are at now – where they would like to go and how they might close the gap between the two with an emphasis on strategic and business development planning.

As the principal and director of The POD Consultancy.  POD = People, Opportunities and Development she splits her time across presenting, facilitating, training and business development coaching. Shirley Anne believes in giving back to the community - She is the Perth manager for the Melbourne based NFP called The Nappy Collective who collect unused disposable nappies and distribute them to families in crisis; she also a board member of Starick a NFP that provides multi layered support services to women and children experiencing family and domestic violence.

Shirley Anne is hooked on learning and development; she is a self-confessed book lover who runs a Women’s Business Book Club called POD Book Chats. She freely admits that can't play golf to save herself and at the end of a hot day in sunny Perth you will find her with cold beer or a good drop of wine with her family.
