Samuel Leon

Sam Leon understands people and business.
His 2019 focus is to positively change Australian corporate culture through a program he has developed over many years, with a unique set of professional skills, experience and knowledge.

Sam commenced his career as a television producer – after a stint sweeping out the studio and arranging the sets! He went on to form Samson Film Productions, maker of several successful feature films including the highly awarded ‘Odd Angry Shot’.

He joined the Life Risk Insurance business and became Australia’s – and for a period – the world’s - number 1 Life Insurance Advisor. He is credited with introducing Term Life Insurance to the Australian market and ‘unbundling’ superannuation.

Sam is the digital-publisher of two successful online magazines with large audiences.

His knowledge and experience are founded on a successful business career and on his ability to relate and create. Here are some examples:

  • The Cancer Council “Daffodil” logo – which he created and brought to reality 35 years ago 
  • Assisted in the creation and development of The Rothbury Estate in the Hunter Valley. 
  • Director of SSB Advertising (a leading Australian Advertising Agency)
  • Personal Insurance Sales of $2.7 Billion
  • The Introduction of “Direct Marketing” of financial products through AMEX, David Jones and TV

Sam’s Qualifications:

Pursuit-of-Excellence Award recipient; Graduate Diploma in Social Styles Studies at Wilson Learning Institute; Diploma in TV and Film Production; Marketing Diploma “LIMRA” Business Summer School at UCLA; Lecturer at “LIAMA” USA, Australian Institute of Management and University of NSW; Lecturer at Asia-Pacific ‘Direct Marketing’ Conferences in Australia, NZ & USA.

Sam is a lover of life, his wife, daughters and grandkids, his mates, good reds, ice-cream, laughter, good coffee and body-surfing at Bondi Beach - or anywhere in the world.
