Meet Patrick Ng

Patrick Ng is the Director of IT at Law Firm Maddocks. He has held this position for several years, originally joining the Firm to implement its Practice Management System prior to Y2K.

His experience in the IT field is extremely varied, having worked and consulted at every level of the network computer model, from hardware through to software application development. Originally beginning his working life as a graphic artist, he moved to computing after observing the remarkable scale economies and quality improvements that software, databases and networks brought to industry. He believes the legal technology arena is poorly understood and remains a challenging and varied environment that has seen unprecedented specialisation in recent years.
